Catania Airport is the first airport in the South for total passenger traffic and the second Italian airport for national traffic. The Catania-Rome route is the busiest nationally and the fourth in Europe.
From Catania Airport it is possible to reach the Port of Milazzo and embark for the Aeolian Islands and reach the islands of Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi.
