9.30 am departure from the port of Vulcano for the tour of Lipari and Salina aboard a small boat.
We will start by skirting the Monterosa, the Canneto Bay, the White Beaches, and finally the Pumice Quarries. Right in front of the turquoise and transparent sea of the Pumice Quarries, we will make our first stop and our first swim.
Continuing, we will find on the left the small village of Acquacalda, while opposite the majestic island of Salina.
We will begin to skirt the island of Salina starting from Capo Faro where we will see the turret and the perpendicular walls with various homogeneous stratifications to testify the geological stages. Further on, we will meet the village of Malfa until we reach the Perciato, an extraordinary natural arch over the sea. Once in Pollara, we will stop for a swim in the sea right in front of the bay. The film “Il Postino” with Massimo Troisi was shot in this wonderful natural bay. The landscape consists of a caldera of an exploded crater and half submerged below sea level.
Resuming navigation, we will visit the Rinella beach. You can sunbathe or take advantage of the clean sea for another incredible swim. At the end, we will skirt the small lake located in Lingua di Salina and then head towards Santa Marina di Salina, one of the most renowned centers of the island.
In Santa Marina di Salina you can devote yourself to shopping or a simple walk in the center where there are numerous bars and restaurants.
After the visit of Santa Marina di Salina, we return to Vulcano. Along the way we will visit the most beautiful caves of Lipari and we will take another last swim in the beach of Vinci, in front of the Faraglioni and the Island of Vulcano with the majestic and imposing Gran Crater right in front.
Return to Vulcano scheduled for approximately 18:00.
